Time's the ultimate currency,
In the sense of how much is left,
Although that’s not what's on my mind,
How precious it really is,
The time we have now.
Will we stop what we are doing,
and write something down?
At the end of each day,
And beginning of anew,
I ask myself these questions:
Did I brighten my wife’s day?
Have I spent time with my kids?
Did I water the flowers?
Have I worked on my dreams?
Everything we do,
And don’t do,
The big,
And the small,
Has a consequence.
It’s the responsible way,
After all.
You don't have the time not to,
Make time for the things that matter.
